Josef Albers, Life and Work by Charles Darwent

I came across a biography of Josef Albers. He was not only a teacher in Bauhaus, Dessau and husband of textile artist Anni Albers, he was one of the driving forces behind Black Mountain College in North Carolina and famous for more than 2000 Homage to the Square paintings. Later in his life, he became head of the design department at Yale University.
